Privacy policy

This is the privacy policy for customers of the poroo.fi online shop, as required by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It is a translation for convenience; in the event of a discrepancy, the Finnish version prevails.

2. What data we collect and why

We collect data solely in order to deliver your order:

• Order details: name, email address and delivery address. The legal basis for processing is performance of a contract (delivering the order and sending the order confirmation).
• Payment details: payment takes place in the systems of our payment service provider (Stripe). We never see or store your card details.

We do not collect data for marketing purposes and we use no analytics or tracking tools.

3. Retention

Order data is retained for the period required by the Finnish Accounting Act (6 years from the end of the financial year). After that the data is deleted.

4. Disclosure of data

We disclose data only in order to deliver your order:

• to the delivery company (name, address, email for the tracking code)
• to the payment service provider for processing the payment.

Data is not transferred outside the EU/EEA and is never sold to third parties.

5. Third-party services on the site

The site loads its font files from Google Fonts, which passes your IP address to Google when the font is loaded. More information: Google's privacy policy.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

• access the data concerning you
• request rectification or erasure of your data
• request restriction of processing or object to processing
• data portability
• lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman).
